Every year in the spring before the boats gets to their homes for the summer the Wayzata Yacht Club takes a day and cleans out the bottom underneath their boats. It’s a few hours with divers and a dozen people helping getting the junk out. It is interesting the things that are found. What ever happened to that tool kit that fell overboard… here it is… you probably no longer want it. How about that cement brick you thought would secure your boat… it’s over there.
Anyway, it’s part of the club cleanup that happens every year before sailing season. It’s also a great reason for the club to get together and eat & drink. It’s a good time.
