We attended an Argentina Wine tasting in the basement tasting room of Wine Republic. Last time I believe we tasted at Wine Republic it was upstairs in a building near downtown. This basement tasting was fine but not as upscale as the last.
The food as wine tastings go was OK. The wines and presentation were in a word OK. We bought none and found not great wines or values. We try to go to two sit down wine events a month, in addition to our normal Friday night at North Loop. We'll probably go to one more Wine Republic tasting and if it is of similar quality not go back.
A month or so back we went to an Argentina Wine Tasting at Excelsior Village that wasfive times the experience.
