E & I have met a LOT of great people in our fifteen year wine journey. Doug Haltgrin who owns & teachs for 6 Ounce Pour is one of the most knowledable people we know about how life and wine are associated. Doug teaches a kinda monthly class at North Loop Wine & Spirits where every Friday night we go to taste wine. Dougs classes are about $60 each and comes with about six pours of wine from that nights theme, We went to two classes a week a part in January. Doug is good people and there are not any other regular wine theme classes in the metro.
This nights class was about Wine & Fascism right in the middle of the TC ICE patrol issues. NOT that Doug may on occassion get political. The next of Dougs classes we are attending is Wine & Art Thursday Feb 12th at 7 PM.
