If you think wine is a beverage, alcohol, something to drink that pairs with food, something meet friends over, then you ahev barely touched the serface of wine. Wine is: History, Art, LIFE! Doug a friend teaches a monthly class at North Loop Wine & Spirits. Some months are on wines of countries, but some are linking wine to art. Last month E&I I took Dougs class about Wine & War (Politics) which was amazing. Did you know the Germans had problems getting their troops to fight in the morning, SO they got them drunk with Champagne. The Germans contacted the Champagne producers and had them ship daily to the German Attack line. That location was ALSO forwarded to the allied Command to determine Troop Placement. Wine IS LIFE!

In this class Doug linked a dozen types of art to wine: Pottery, Articultechture, Sculpture, Movies, religion, it was one of the most interesting classes E&I have ever been to.
