Vibrant spot boasting a menu of classic fare including veggie, steak & pork dishes. Easygoing eatery, one of a small chain, with a large menu of Mexican standards & ample margaritas.

We don't normally do chain restaurants or restaurants we can't do reservations for. Tonight we have both in one. We are at Theresas Mexican Restaurant of Golden Valley just off Hwy 100 & Duluth St.

As Mexican Restaurants/Sports Bars go it is right in line with everything else in the similar restaurants.

They do have neat little mini-crafts with definitely great home made salsa instead of constantly running out.

We both had margaritas which were ok.

E had a chimichanga which was good yet more than she could eat.

I had a Fajita like i usually do at Mexican restaurants. As usual I got the beef, chicken & shrimp mix. The pieces at Theresas are much smaller than most Mexican restaurants at about 3/4" across unlike 2-3" like most. It's not good or bad, its just different.

All in all it was a good meal at Theresas but nothing to write home about. It's a good neighborhood restaurant but not worth driving across town for.
