In addition to owning ToDOTC we own The MN Wine Club. Six or seven times a year we will have wine events. We have a nice house with a huge deck that over looks a park in the North Metro.

I'm a tech guy so I have my share of toys. One of my toys is we have a TV Set mounted on a file cabinet with wheels so we can watch TV & Movies outside on the deck next to a fire. Much better than indoors.

As will happen with guys sometimes projects get out of hand. One day in one of the Labs I was working on I saw a pulldown projection screen thrown in the corner. I inquired about it and was told magic marker comes off white boards but not projection screens and some brilliant manager with a marker marked the end of that screen. Take it home if you want.

Well… armed with my projection screen I had a new project. And for $800 later… did you know the cheap projectors can't be seen in day light… dare I regress. I had a screen mounted to the house to watch movies on a big screen outdoors.

As will happen with some guys bigger is usually better… well now we have two screens about 20' total. Great life size football players.

So where was I… yes, we host wine events. Well starting last-year we thought we'd host great Bogart classics and drink wine with our friends to it. So, we hosted four Bogart wine tastings last year.

This year the theme was great wine movies. So, we hosted the three great wine movies: Sideways, Bottle Shock, and on this night Sour Grapes.

Everyone brought wine & aps and we had a great time.
