As part of trying places all over the metro, tonight we are in Plymouth in the west metro, west of 494 on 55. Rock Elm Tavern is a great sports bar in the area. If you are looking for a classic sports bar in the area with a ton of TVs and incredible burgers look no further than Rock Elm Tavern. Rock Elm offers Wagyu burgers, they are great. But I had the Vat 17 burger recommended and mine was great. If you like pan fried burgers there are a dozen good sports bars in the metro. If on the other hand you are looking for a great charcoal grilled burger there are few in the metro to compare with the great burgers at Rock Elm Tavern.

Our waiter had just got back from Italy watching a friend compete in the Olympics. He explained the subtleties of Curling and we thought it was something to do with your non-drinking hand throwing a rock. They have a great menu with a lot of bar food options and a ton of beers and drinks.

Rock Elm Tavern has a Club House area for the gang to do indoor golf on simulators. It's a great area to bring a group away from the rest of the people in the bar.

E & I had burgers, cheese sticks and two wines. If Wine is not your thing our $86 bill would have been in the $60s for a great Friday night meal while watching the game.
