Tonight we are at RH rooftop of Edina across the parking lot from Southdale on France.

We finally found it: the Twin Cities restaurant that looks like the party mansion in Beverly Hills complete with the fountains, chandeliers, greenery, beautiful people and a view. This is cool.

One misnomer that few get pass is just because the place is top end the people aren't nice, everyone here were VERY NICE.

RH rooftop top is on the third floor after walking up two amazing flights of huge rooms that I suspect if the walls could talk would have stories that would curl your.. well let's just say interesting. 

The RH Rooftop has the quality wine list one would expect for a place of this grandeur. E ordered her usual Cab from Tuscany and I chose a Malbec from Mendoza, Argentina. Both substantial pours arrived in Spiegelau glasses that extra hint of a fantastic evening to come.

We chose Delice De Bourgogne Cheese, Strawberry & French bread for the appetizer for $19. It out did our expectations. It was simply a sliced baguette, a wedge of De Bourgogne cheese and strawberry preserves with grapes. Separately they are very good but as food pairing people know, mix them together and they explode with taste in your mouth.

For entrees tonight we each ordered one in case the quantity was a bit small as will happen at top shelf places with people watching waistlines.

E had shaved Ribeye on charred garlic bread with Cherry Peppers Au Jus for $28 

I had the Broiled salmon with Honey & Black Pepper, Brown Butter & Lemon which presented well and was as good as any place we have been including our grill.

We did have one issue. After we ordered the Appetizer & Entree's about five minutes later the entree's arrived sans appetizer.

We mentioned it and our server said let me take the entrees back and put things in the correct order. We did not desire to waste food so we said simply bring it after the entrees, which was fine.

With the amount of food we had with the entrees we did not need it. But I had already wrote of the appetizer and I hate to delete text so we took it so we could have a picture for you. It's all about you! LOL

The bill for the night was $142

Our server's name was Ananda she was phenomenal. She educated us on the RH Rooftop concept. RH stands for Restoration Hardware which is a furniture & artwork store. They started as a restaurant after shopping for house upgrades. Now the restaurant has become more Popular than the lower levels.

If you are looking for a place to impress someone? There is no better venue in the Twin Cities. 

YES this makes it into our top ten. 

We have but one request, we want an invite to the parties that obviously goes on in the lower levels!
