Tonight we are on the far west side of the Metro in Long Lake.

We had Calamari and the Bread Basket for apps.

For a entree we ordered Strozzapreti Primavera.

When we made reservations we expected and were hoping it was a small plate food place. The name is Primo Plates & Pours, we must have miss read. For it is not. The search continues.

We started with a fresh bread & olive oil with aged balsamic vinegar to start our evening. It was as good as any bread basket in the TC.

We followed the bread basket with a great exotic calamari plate. Both the red & white sauces were good which is rare. Served with pickled red onions & spring greens. This is probably one of the better calamari's we have ever had it was very flavorful.

Primo is a small strip mall type of place with owners that have attention to detail. Every plate is inspected before it is delivered and you can see the two guys that run/own the place really care about quality something you don't necessarily get at chain restaurants. It's worth the trip.
