We have been going out to Parley Lake Winery since about 2010.
Our friends Steve & Deb Zeller Started the winery in 2008 on Deardorff Apple Orchard property about five miles past the Arboretum near Parley Lake, thus the name.
When we took The MN Wine Club our to see and tour Steve's winery they were operating out of a two car garage. That has grown every year and now they are in the tasting barn along with Deardorf Apples.
We go out every October. We get to see and sometimes help with the harvest and see that latest amazing things Deb Zeller the artist has created. The entire facility is a work of art.
Steve was one of the early promoters of all Minnesota grown wines. His Marquette can hold its own against 90% of the wines out there. We like it and order it every time wee see it.
Beyond a place wedding parties go Steve and Deb now offer complete wedding facilities to have your wedding there.
In addition the place is family and pet friendly. Add to that the local bands they regularly have, it's a great place to spend an afternoon and enjoy some of the great local wines created by some really nice people. We'll be back!
