MN English Setter Field Trial

Thoughout the year we will go to see field events.  So in Late September we attended the MN English Setter Field Trial at Good Going Kennel of Baldwin WI.

Filed dog events are broken into two types the competitive Field Trial where there is only one winner/class. And Hunt Tests where there is a standard to meet and everyone can wine or qualify. Hunt Tests are more for the common person.

None the less if you want to see some incredible dogs run and do their job, either are fun. Today we are at the MN English Setter field trial.
With Field trials only the dogs running, perhaps the next pair are onsite. People come & go all day. There is not a lot to look at.

None the less if you want to meet some great trainers & dogs you should come on out. Jason Goodings Goof Going Kennel is about an hour into WI and worth the trip.

So take a look. If you are interested in buying a pointing breed dog it's a great place to start.
