Up until a few years ago we rode motorcycle most weekends. Sadly with the evolution of cell phones and distracted driving and people that simple don't follow the law it seems like every year we lose a friend. A few years ago we got tired of it so we went from a motorcycle to a tandem e-bike. There is amazingly little difference except that e-bikes are safer. Ours will go about 50 miles at 25 miles an hour. Three-Four hours at normal Speed. It's a Pedigo from Pedigo store of Stillwater. It was pricey but worth it.
Our closest and favorite Farmers Market is Mill City by the Guthrie and St Anthony Falls. We could take the car and it's a 15 minute drive then 15 minutes to find a parking place. OR we can get on the Tandem E-bike go down Old Highway 8 to Cty C & New Brighton Blvd (part of the Great TC Round Bike path) Past Honeywell, under the 35W Freeway to Como (all bike path) To the U, across the river on the SECRET BRIDGE, under 35W and we are there. only 45 minutes and no charge for parking!
On with Mill City Farmers Market! Since we rode bike, ok we try to pedal once/mile we figure we have earned a donut! So we have one. Last week they were $3.50 a piece. We could have bought: Radishes, Rhubarb, flowers, Pizza probably a retirement plan, there are a ton of people and probably 100 booths. And for entertainment there are about 200 people doing Yoga.
The Mill Street Farmers market is open May - October and is a FREE FUN few hours. We usually go Monthly in the summer.
