If you are looking for a place to play board games or a local restaurant/bar to meet friends in Lowertown St Paul, you are lookingh for the Lost Fox. If you are walking in St Paul Lowertown, go to the Union Depot front door, look at the light rail and on the other side of the light rail station is the Lost Fox.
If you are driving and using your cell phone for maps... we found out you can't get there from here! We drove the two blocks completely around it and looked down at a dumpster and said, it's in the middle of the for alleys, next to the dumpster... well where else should we go? So I dropped E off next to the dumpster and looked for a place to park I would not be towed. I went back down to the river and around the Union Depot next to a parking ramp. I get it, the locals don't like people driving on the sidewalk next to the light rail. But going through the back door is no dream either. Anyway I got parked and walked past the dumpster down an alley and safetly made it into the Lost Fox.
The Lost fox is your typical local pub. with a burger & sandwich menu that I am sure is friendly to any diet. The wait staff was ok but did not seem to care much about us. Of course we were NOT Locals. We had burgers & salads. which were good.
