We go to a LOT of restaurants each year. If we get one a month to rave about we are thrilled. When riding our Tandem electric bike to Minneapolis last weekend we went past a new restaurant moved in where a brewery was, where an A&W once was located at County Road D and New Brighton, Blvd. That’s a mile west of 35W.
As we drove past the new restaurant we saw the name was Leela. I told E to put it on our list. It’s that simple to get on our list.
So Friday night we went to our North Loop wine tasting then, without reservations we went to Leela. What a great little place. The special of the night was shrimp veggie alfredo pasta for $18.99 which we had and was very good. And it was reasonably priced and delicious.
We taste a lot of wine. And we have visited a number of wineries. In Paso Robles central California we visited Josh winery. They had a great winery with great wine. And Josh is a well known wine. E had a Josh Cab Sav wine for $12, it was very good. I had a good margarita for $13.
E ordered steak bites for $16 which came is a gravy with mushrooms and onions. It was a great app. Leelas has a very good chef.
The motif kind of Tiki barish light and airy. They have interesting tunes from Sinatra to Santana to Barry White… great tunes. It was a fun place to eat with great food and reasonable priced.
