The Marriot does not have a continental breakfast. We were told about a great breakfast place that was a few blocks away.
After walking a few blocks down State Street we checked the location and it was about a mile away. We settled for a good breakfast place a few blocks from the hotel.
We found Goodland Waffles a few blocks from the hotel on State St. Was it good for my blood sugar? Maybe not, but we had wineries to discover and wine that needed drinking, so we settled for waffle. The waffles were good and reasonably priced.
Anyway, after breakfast we started our trek on CA101 up the Pacific Shore. Fess Parker Winery was an hour away.
