It was a cold windy March 16th day when we were in the South St Paul Metro are and decided to stop by our favorite cold stormy day place Gertens Green Houses.  If you are looking for a great place to spend a terrible weather day, few places in the metro can compare with Gertens.

All the people are nice, you can think of summer as you tour without question the largest & most exotic outdoor/garden center in the Midwest. Looking for the latest bird feeders, waterers, nests or food, they have it. Looking for the largest selection of garden tools… they have it. Looking for plants for the yard, garden or inside…. They have it. Looking for Christmas lights with all the cords… they have it. Looking for statues from the Uof (M, WI. NE..) they have it. Garden gnomes and a hundred other things for your yard/Garden your go to place is Gertens. They MAY not be the cheapest place in town but they have greater selection and are a one stop solution and dreamers are also welcome!
