After the Superbowl the world turns to ICE in the Twin Cities. There are few things to do around town. When that happens, for almost a decade we have gone to the Transval Dance at the German-American Institute in St Paul a few blocks from the Cathederal. The Transval is a German Mardi Gras for, yea for the Trannys. We have seen several generations of the party. Five years ago they had burlesque with Trannys putting on the show. This year in the same third floor banquet room people were dancing and learning to Waltz. I think cover was I was $10 each or something to get in and there was three floors of drinking music & dance. It's a fun run away for February.
