The Edina Fall into Art Festival
 
Of all the dozen or so art fairs/shows we go to I think the Fall edina Art show by Southdale may in fact be our favorite.
 
It is located between 494 and Southdale between large businesses and apartments with a stream with paddleboats and radio boats and a grand walk with trees.
 
On each side of the walk are exhibitors. Usually the crowds are not tight enough to need to push through, but we have seen it.
But every block or so there is a parking lot to get away from people.
 
This is one of the largest art shows in the metro. We collect outside meatal moving lawn art. We have about thirty pieces. You will see pictures of them.
 
One of the things we like about the show is there is things for everyone. If you have $5-$10 you can buy something.
Equally if you are looking for a piece for your Great Room there are those pieces too.
 
Another thing is the show is kinda of by itself on the calendar. In the spring there are about four weeks in June that most the art shows crowd into.
This is in September. Also you can park the same block for free as the show.
 
All this totals up to a very run art show.
