With Germans on both sides of the family every year we look forward to Deutsche Tage Days or (German Days) at the Germanic American Institute a few blocks from the St Paul cathederal on Summit in St Paul. It's always an early June event and is a fun day with German clothes, food, music and dance. The Institute and the grounds are great for the event and this year, as you will find at German events, not a piece of trash was on the ground more than seconds. The food lines are a bit long but the food is reasonably priced and this year it was provided by the Black Forest Inn. Dress up in your finest German clothes or buy some these and find out about your German ancestory. It's a fun kids friendly day.
