We like our unusual restaurants and we enjoy wine and charcuterie boards so we found that interesting combination at the new charcuterie bar at 101 66th Ave. N. in Plymouth. Charcuterie Boards is a strip mall oh a mile or so off of Highway 100 to the west in the Cub shopping center.
As business orders, we have a interesting perspective on a lot of new businesses the one problem that we saw at the charcuterie bar and warn you about it before you go out there we had four choices, four different charcuterie plates that we could've put together or there was four that was all pre-set up for us. We chose a pre-set up one cause we thought it would probably go faster and even though the place was about 3/4 away full, it took an entire hour for us to get there a Chucky deer board we've got a picture of it on the website and it was good but we don't wait an hour for food anywhere so we believe they need to do is more standardize and maybe higher more people to do it correctly.
Our bill was $85.73. I think that was after the tip was originally $79 added on tip and that was for three wines we shared the second and a $40 charcuterie board again everything was very good. It just wasn't very fast..
The place is a very clean wine bar and the people bend over backwards to try to work with you. It's definitely someplace we'd love to go back to if we knew we could get served in a half hour after we got there..
One of the nice things about the place is we've taken classes and bought special glasses for wine because it's amazing how the taste of wine changes when the wine is placed at the exact right place on your pallet and it was nice to see that the charcuterie board bar had the expensive glasses that make a good wine taste great
The place is not very expensive. You can start the charcuterie board start at $13 which is one meat and one cracker and one accompaniment that you build yourself then the next set is two meats two crackers to a compliment for $25. The third is three meats, three crackers and three accompaniments with two spreads for $40 and last four meats for crackers five compliments three spreads for $105 and it's just basically how big your crowd is that you come along and what you really are looking for but everything was very fresh and good.
But they're on the back of the menu. There is three options for Borge plus a vegetarian one which was all set up already and you didn't have to choose what you liked what you didn't which is what we preferred from the beginning and I think we bought a $45 board and it was a classic board good enough for both of us and we ate everything and did not leave. They're hungry..
They had a good combination of drinks, wines, and beers and mixed drinks and nonalcoholic drinks in additional. They probably had a dozen different wines to choose from red white and sparkling. That selection was fine and the wines were very good.
Well, lastly, the place is easy to get to it at a strip mall so there's plenty of free parking. It's well lit and it's looks safe and it's again right next to the in the same malls as Cub foods so it's easier to see you from Highway 55 and we will definitely go back.
