Tonight we went a step above the restaurant level we normally go to. The Capital Grill is an upscale restaurant with dark woodwork, pictures of Hubert Humphrey, a wine elevator and all the trimmings of $.

We are used to more trendy, eclectic restaurants where you may talk to the Chef that spent weeks designing the dish. Capital Grill is more of a steak & lobster thing.

The food & wine were good albeit not very unusual. This would be a great place to take a business client or a family celebration. We would come back but first there is this new seafood restaurant where you all get Harpoons!

We had 2 good wines, a salad, shrimp cocktail and Mac & cheese with Lobster, this bill with the 2/$18 wines was only $96.
