Camden Social Club
We have been going to different restaurants and places weekly ever since I can remember. I was asked once at a writers’ conference, what I do for writers block. I explained I don’t get it. The reason I don’t is every week we go to a new place and see something new. You don’t get writers block if your brain is continually refreshed with new things.
Ten years ago, before I was writing about getting out in the metro Twin Cities, we might have never gone to Camden Social Club. But when I started to write about places to go, I thought it was kind of a requirement to go all over the metro.
Some say North Minneapolis is not safe at night. We had no issues. That said we were home by 8:30 PM. It was in an area we occasional ride our electric Tandem bike and I think we have reviewed on restaurant in the area.
The Camden Social Club is like a thousand other bars/cubs in the Midwest. Not that much different than Matts, one of the homes of the Juicy Lucey. The people were nice, they offered off street parking, by the way the door is in back by their parking lot, don’t walk to the front like us. They have a Cigar area. Good food & drinks.
From the many North Loop places we go it’s kinda half way home. If you are curious about it, go! We did and may return.
