Sadly we were one of the last people to eat at Butcher & Boar which is now closed.

This bustling American eatery with a beer garden offers a meat-focused menu, craft brews & bourbons.

We have been waiting FOUR MONTHS to come to Butcher & Boar. We have hit the Elite of Twin City restaurants. For the Elite you obviously are going to spend more, tonight we might do this on the cheap... $100 cheap.
The Valet was $12 for me to pull in a spot next to the restaurant. I have never parked my own vehicle in a Valet, do I get to put that on my resume'? But with the turmoil in the world we like being close.
As far as location we are a mile from Dunwoody, the Spoon and Mpls college on Hennepin.
For wine E had the Sterling Vitner's Cab Sav, because we went to Sterling over the fourth last year. I had the LLama Malbec from Mendoza Argentina... I have never drank LLama wine. Both were good $12 with a good pour.
Butcher & Boar are known for their Smoked meats and sausages. We ordered a sausage sampler for two $33 it had three sausages: a Texan Beef, a wild Boar Hot link and a Berkshire Pork & Cheddar with stukel & Slaw, it was interesting and good. we also had a side order of Sour Creme & Chive Mash Potatoes. We liked the Berkshire the best.
For desert we had Banana Nutella Pie $10 again phenomenal.
So what's our opinion: Butcher & Boar is different than most restaurants in a good way, we might return if we wanted something different.
