Northern Chile has a French influence over it.

Mendoza region has Carmen that would not take an American. Both Carmine and Malbec cannot be grafted to an American route it just doesn’t work. Malbec is known by 1000 different names in France

Fluxera does not like sand and that’s very common in Chile in Uruguay and Argentina.
