Tonight we are at On’s Kitchen on University by Snelling. For those keeping score we are on the same block as Axman.

We are here because the we asked the nice waitress at Estelles were did restaurant reviews and asked her what her favorite restaurant is… And she said No’s Kitchen, so this week here we are.

No’s Kitchen is a neighborhood Thai place. The have about 20 tables and a great Take-out crowd.

They do not offer reservations but we went Friday night at 7:30 and we got seated within about ten minutes.

First of all I must compliment them on the menu. This is not a traditional American Food place so like many non-traditional restaurants they number their 90ish offerings and have plenty of pictures.

We asked about winelist and they had to get us one. They have 9 red wines and 12 whites, which is a bit different but they know their customers. They have a good mix of US and International wines. Our waitress did not know what was in the glasses she poured, you don't need to drink wine long to taste the difference between a Noir & a Cab. They were drinkable wines, but for $8 what should one expect.

We spent a few minutes looking at their menu that thankfully had a lot of pictures.

For an App we ordered Egg Rolls for entrees we ordered Sweet & sour pork and Cashew Chicken. We also ordered Pineapple Pork Fried Rice. All the food was good but I don't think we will be returning.

ON'S KITCHEN is an authentic Thai restaurant with an extensive menu of home made fresh dishes cooked by owner and head chef "On" Khumchaya. She started cooking Thai food at the age of eight years old for herself and her younger brothers and sister in Khlong Suan, Chachoengsao, Thailand.
