About 8 days a week I drive past Lat-19 on the way to making computer chips for space. As an ex-navigation specialists for the USAF knowing a bit about the globe I assumed Lat 14 was Asian food. As midwesterners Asian food is not high on our schedule of restaurants. But after trying Korean/Asian Fusion we thought bring. It on.

They had a small but interesting wine list. For once E&I switched the wines we ordered. She had a Noir from Chili and I had a Cab from Argentina. They were from Lat 14… just a different hemisphere. The pours and taste were good.

We like small plate food, something Lat 14 has. We ordered & shared three small plates. First we ordered Cream Cheese & Crab Wontons. Next we Bacon Pineapple Rice with Duck. And lastly we had Shrimp & Mushrooms with Fried Rice.

We started with Cream Cheese & Crab WonTons. It was the best Cream Cheese & Crab Wonton with sweet Apricot Chili sauce we ever had. OK it was the only…. Never the less it was good.

Lat 14 is a nice, very clean, not too loud interesting place to eat.
You will find things there you may not ind anywhere else in the metro. It is across the street from KARE 11 and General Mills so it is very safe.
